Tech Crowd Infographic

This infographic was designed for Tech Crowd, a technology and culture magazine with an audience interested in concise, data-driven information. The project focused on the topic “Who Uses Social Media?” and used demographic data to show how online platform use varies by age, race/ethnicity, gender, income, and education. The goal was to create an infographic that made complex information easier to understand while giving readers a quick visual snapshot of social media adoption trends.

For the visual direction, I used Tech Crowd’s existing brand style guide to maintain consistency with the magazine’s identity. The design applies the brand’s blue and green color palette, Aileron typography, logo placement, and technology-inspired visual style. I organized the data into multiple chart types, including a slope graph, clustered bar charts, and trend-focused line charts, so viewers could compare both current demographic differences and changes over time. The final layout uses clear hierarchy, chart grouping, contrast, and supporting illustration to guide the reader through the story without overwhelming them.
