Dorcheat Land Management Logo Refresh

This logo refresh was created for Dorcheat Land Management, a professional land management business that needed a stronger and more versatile visual identity. The project focused on updating the existing logo while keeping the brand recognizable through its original flame-inspired concept. I presented the client with three different design directions, each exploring a different approach to the mark, typography, and overall brand style. The client selected Option 1, which became the final logo system now used by the business.

For the visual direction, I refined the mark into a bolder, more structured logo that combines the letter “D” with a flame shape for a stronger and more memorable brand symbol. I used blue, orange, and red to create contrast, energy, and a professional look while giving the logo enough flexibility to work in full color, one color, and reversed versions. The final identity was applied to business cards and brand mockups, and the business now uses the refreshed logo and business cards as part of its real-world branding.

LCP Spirit Designs

This apparel design collection was created for Loyola College Prep as part of a school spirit and team merchandise drop through my current role at Magnolia Marks. The project included multiple spiritwear concepts for different school activities, teams, and student groups, with designs created for t-shirts, sweatshirts, and webstore product listings. The goal was to create a variety of apparel options that felt school-spirited, wearable, and connected to Loyola’s visual identity while giving students, parents, and supporters several styles to choose from.

For the visual direction, I used Loyola’s navy, light blue, white, and gray color palette to keep the collection cohesive across different products and categories. I created a mix of bold athletic layouts, playful mascot-inspired graphics, typographic designs, and team-specific artwork so the collection would feel varied while still belonging to the same school brand. In addition to the apparel graphics, I managed the online store through Volusion, including product presentation, webstore organization, and promotional banner graphics for the apparel drop.

Screaming Monkey Logo

This logo refresh was created for Screaming Monkey, a trail race held at Eddie D. Jones Park in Keithville, Louisiana, near a National Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The race includes multiple distance options, including 10K, 25K, 50K, 100K, and 100 miles, with a course that moves through wooded trails, rolling red-clay hills, gravel, roots, rocks, and rugged outdoor terrain. The goal of the project was to modernize the existing race logo while keeping the design playful, memorable, and recognizable for event participants.

For the visual direction, I created a brighter and more dimensional logo system using bold lettering, energetic movement, and a monkey illustration that better reflects the race’s fun and adventurous tone. I also designed a hat mockup and event banner to show how the refreshed identity could translate across real-world applications. The banner shown in the event photo demonstrates the logo in an outdoor race setting, while the medal image is included for brand application context only and was not created by me.

  • Hat mockup

  • Logo layout variations

Fresh Fare Farms

This multi-channel advertising campaign was designed for Fresh Fare Farms, a meal kit delivery service focused on locally sourced ingredients, sustainable farming, and convenient healthy meals. The campaign was created for Hunger Action Month, with the goal of expanding the brand’s audience while raising awareness about community food insecurity. Each campaign piece encourages users to sign up for the service while communicating that their purchase can also support local food banks.

For the visual direction, I used the tagline “Local. Sustainable. FRESH.” to create a clear and memorable campaign message across print, social, and digital formats. The design system uses warm food photography, rounded shapes, organic patterns, and a fresh green, orange, and earth-toned color palette to reflect health, sustainability, and community care. I focused on creating a consistent message hierarchy across each deliverable so the campaign could quickly communicate the brand promise, explain the benefit, and guide the viewer toward the call to action.

Each piece was created to support Magnolia Marks’ focus on custom promotional products for businesses, schools, events, and organizations.

For the visual direction, I focused on creating designs that felt bold, polished, and adaptable across a wide range of products and formats. The refreshed logo system was designed to be more versatile for print, embroidery, digital use, and product branding, while the supporting materials used strong typography, brand colors, product photography, and clean layouts to create a cohesive look. Tech Crowd Infographic

This infographic was designed for Tech Crowd, a technology and culture magazine with an audience interested in concise, data-driven information. The project focused on the topic “Who Uses Social Media?” and used demographic data to show how online platform use varies by age, race/ethnicity, gender, income, and education. The goal was to create an infographic that made complex information easier to understand while giving readers a quick visual snapshot of social media adoption trends.

For the visual direction, I used Tech Crowd’s existing brand style guide to maintain consistency with the magazine’s identity. The design applies the brand’s blue and green color palette, Aileron typography, logo placement, and technology-inspired visual style. I organized the data into multiple chart types, including a slope graph, clustered bar charts, and trend-focused line charts, so viewers could compare both current demographic differences and changes over time. The final layout uses clear hierarchy, chart grouping, contrast, and supporting illustration to guide the reader through the story without overwhelming them.

  • Demographic data visualization
  • Slope graph

Art Talk Catalog

This multi-page catalog was designed for Art Talk, an exhibition titled Inclusion and Diversity Through an Art Conversation Exhibition. The project focused on presenting portrait photography and floral imagery in a way that felt curated, expressive, and easy to navigate. The catalog includes a cover page, table of contents, artist introduction, and artwork feature pages that organize each piece by title, size, medium, description, and photo credit.

For the visual direction, I created an elegant editorial layout using a restrained navy, gold, white, and neutral color palette so the photography could remain the main focus. The cover uses a modular grid system with portrait images, color blocks, large typography, and striped pattern elements to create a strong first impression. Inside the catalog, repeated page numbers, navy text blocks, gold accents, and consistent image/text relationships help guide the reader through the exhibition while still allowing each spread to feel visually unique. The slideshow at the bottom of the page features all eight catalog pages, giving viewers a complete look at the publication from cover to final artwork page.

Merrit Group Logo Branding

This logo branding project was created for Merritt Group, a wealth management firm focused on providing tailored financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and corporate executives. The goal of the project was to create a polished and trustworthy brand identity that reflected the firm’s emphasis on integrity, stability, discretion, and long-term financial growth. The design process began with research, brainstorming, mind mapping, and sketching to explore visual directions connected to professionalism, security, growth, and financial confidence.

For the final direction, I created a monogram-style logo using the letters “M” and “G” with subtle bar graph imagery to represent progress and strategic growth without relying on overused financial symbols like a dollar sign. The blue, white, and metallic silver color palette was chosen to communicate stability, credibility, and sophistication, while the clean typography gives the brand a timeless and professional feel. The final logo system includes primary, secondary, and symbol-only variations, allowing the identity to remain consistent and adaptable across digital platforms, print materials, signage, and branded merchandise.
